FOOT WEAR: Flip flops and other beach style footwear is unacceptable for all staff. Staff involved in PE and Games should change into appropriate a�re (i.e. proper games kit) for those lessons. Only staff in the PE/Games Department may wear games kit/tracksuit all day, although they should atend parent evenings and other formal occasions in professional dress. All staff should be mindful of good professional conduct. During contact �me with students, mee�ngs with parents or when in atendance at Staff Mee�ngs/Professional Development. Chewing gum is frowned upon and mobile phones should be switched off. Remember: we are all role models to the students and by our high standards in dress code, we always encourage them to wear smart uniform . On formal school occasions, sta ff members are expected to dress accordingly. STAFF APPRAISAL SYSTEM The goal of the Sta ff Appraisal System is to ensure quality teaching in Al Diyafah High School so that each student may be provided a quality educa � on. It is also a process which is designed to challenge, support and appreciate the endeavours of staff members. STAFF DISCOUNT ON CHILD(REN)’S SCHOOL AND TRANSPORT FEES On successful comple�on of proba�on staff will be en�tled to a 50% discount on tui�on fee and school transport for up to 2 children. To secure admission staff should follow the admission process. Subject to the school offering admission(s) the following terms are applicable. Policy: All teaching and admin staff are en�tled to a 50% discount on tui�on fee for up to 2 children. Staff child(ren) using the bus facility will also be en�tled to a discount of 50% on the transport fees. (Terms and condi�on apply as per Transport Policy) Fee Payment Terms: School fees and transport fees can be paid in 2 modes (please choose the most convenient)  As per the school policy via post-dated cheques for 3 terms or deducted from monthly salary. Arrangements for fee payment must be organised before buying the school books in August. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT The goals of the sta ff development program are to enhance student learning to help students meet the school’s strategic obje c� ves and to meet the developmental needs of its sta ff members. The school looks forward to using a variety of professional development approaches to accomplish these obje c� ves. Al Diyafah High School will make every possible e ff ort to have a mul � -faceted approach towards sta ff development by using resources such as in-house CPD Training, good prac�ce sharing sessions, peer to peer coaching, Teacher Learning Communities (TLCs), v isi� ng consultants, on-line learning opportun i� es and sponsorship of sta ff to various training programs, workshops and conferences held in the UAE and in special cases abroad. The Management will sponsor 50% of the cost or in some cases the whole cost of the program. If the
