Resigna�on: Employees will not be eligible for any type of leave during notice period Notice period does not include any holidays during the school year You should be aware that mid- year resigna�ons amount to a breach of contract. The contract also makes it clear that the school will only issue an Experience Leter and the NOC upon comple�on of the academic year (Academic year is from August to July). It is to be noted that Summer, Winter and Spring breaks will not be considered as no�ce �me. STAFF ROOMS Sta ff rooms equipped with basic amenities are to be kept clean and neat. All electrical and electronic equipment are to be used appropriately and looked after by the sta ff using the room. Lockers provided to sta ff members may be used to store items, so as to avoid losing or misplacing their belongings. Keys to the lockers must be returned to the Facili�es Team before school closes at the end of the Academic year. No �c es are updated regularly and posted on sta ff no �ce boards. All sta ff members are expected to check the no �ce board in the sta ff room every day for no �c es/circulars/Morning Note. Be sen si� ve to other sta ff members who may be comple � ng correction work or preparing lessons. Kindly ensure that all windows are closed when the A/C is switched on and that lights and fans are switched o ff at the end of the school day. Students and parents are not permitted into the sta ff rooms under any circumstance. DRESS CODE: It is recognised that all academic sta ff at Al Diyafah High School have the responsibility to dress in such a manner as to support the high standards expected of them by the Al Diyafah community. Wearing �ght or inappropriate clothing for the working environment , anything that may hinder the iden�fica�on of the employee including face covering during working hours (excluding medical mask) is prohibited as per the Code of Conduct laid out by KHDA. A good guide to standards of dress is that it should be adhered to everyday. As a minimum standard, dress should be clean, neat and professional and respec�ul to the culture and religion of the UAE. Jeans/skinny jeans/leggings, denim or jean-style trousers are not permited. Employees must dress to an appropriate standard as a condi�on of employment. Male staff should teach academic lessons wearing smart trousers, a shirt and �e throughout the year. Short-sleeved shirts are acceptable in warmer months. Female staff should wear smart clothing and footwear. Shoulders should be covered (i.e. no sleeveless tops or dresses) and necklines should be appropriately modest. Dresses and skirts should be knee-level or longer. Please avoid wearing clothing that is too �ght or see - through. You will find that air condi�oning can make rooms cold and so a jacket, cardigan or shawl may be useful.
