Staff exit and entry during a school day: For staff going out for any reason during a school day should have approval from the respec�ve Head of department. SLT/team leaders should send an email to HR and Opera�ons Team Leader If a staff has to exit on an emergency - a phone call has to be made to the Opera�ons Team Leader along with the email. All staff must adhere to the below : • Allow sufficient time to ensure a smooth exit at Gate 4 • Exit should only be through Gate 4 and staff should be wearing the staff ID • Exit and re-entry must be through gate 4 and tapping of id card on exit and re-entry is required • The security at gate 4 will be monitoring this process so staff has to report to security during exit and if security is busy, staff has to wait and leave the premises only after informing the security on duty • On re-entry, staff has to tap the id card and report to security. If the security is busy, the staff has to wait and enter the school only after informing the security on duty • Staff must cooperate with security/staff when informed to tap the id card - OUT AND IN Accepting gifts from students and their families on or off the school campus, and providing favoritism, nepotism, and unfair preference. •Undertake any financial participation that could jeopardize the school's goals or activities, directly or indirectly. •Use public or work-related resources for personal purposes or for personal gain. •Spend financial resources in an excessive or wasteful manner. •Offering private lessons unless the appropriate authorizations have been implemented. BLACK OUT DAYS FOR LEAVE : Staff cannot take leave on the first and last working day of the school term and on PTCI days. There will be 3 days loss of pay for leave taken on those days. If staff misses any part of first day or last day of term without permission, they will lose 3 days loss of pay. CONTRACT OF EMPLOYMENT Probation: As per school policy the proba � onary period is three months, which may be further extended for three months if the teacher does not meet expecta � ons. Employees will not be eligible for any type of leave while on proba � on except where authorised prior to commencement of employment.
