Re- Sit Examina�ons Students who fail in one, two or three subjects will be given an opportunity to reappear for the assessments in these subjects. To ensure the effec�ve implementa�on of this policy the Principal and Vice Principal will : • Work together with the Learning Support Team to identify students who are not meeting learning expectations. • Ensure these students are receiving academic interventions or an IEP as appropriate. • Consult with appropriate individuals to make decisions about promotion and retention for students. Admission to Sixth Form (Year 12 & 13) Admission to Sixth- Form (Year 12) is not automa�c and is subject to the students mee�ng the following criteria: • Should have secured Grades A*-B in the IGCSE examination in the subjects they wish to study at A Level and a minimum C grade in the other subjects • A good record of behaviour and a high attendance percentage Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview with the Head of Sixth -Form and the admission to AS Level subject to the students’ performance at the interview. Students are eligible to enter Year 13 and pursue subjects in which they have socred grades A-D at the AS level examina�on.
