Social skills by interacting with peers, displaying mutual respect and tolerance, ability to deal and resolve conflict. The Personal Enrichment Programme (PEP) further develops areas of specific interest in students through a range of ac�vi�es including ballet, crea�ve wri�ng, science club, math club, sports and ICT. Moral Educa�on Moral Educa�on will be taught to all students in Years 2 -10. Key Stage 3 We follow the Na�onal curriculum for England in KS3 . It essen�ally builds on the learning in Key Stage 2 and provides the founda�on for Key Stage 4. There is strong impetus on developing founda�on in all key subject areas. The subjects are: • English • Mathema�cs • Arabic • Islamic Studies/PSHE • Science • Social studies • ICT/Computer Science • French/Hindi • Humani�es • Expressive Arts The Personal Enrichment Programme further develops students’ cri�cal thinking, applica�on of subject knowledge and helps them to acquire life skills for the 21st century. Key Stage 4 Key Stage 4 relates to courses studied in Years 10 and 11. Teaching is focused to prepare students for the IGCSE/GCSE examina�ons at the end of this key stage. Year 10 and 11 Students will pursue eight IGCSE courses. Students follow flexible pathways which are designed based on the student needs and interest. Four subjects are compulsory and will be taken by all students. • English • Mathema�cs • Environmental Management • ICT/Computer Science In addi�on, they will have to choose the remaining four from a range of op�onal subjects which permits a very large number of possible combina�ons. The op�onal subjects offered are Physics, Art & Design, Chemistry, Biology, Accoun�ng, French, Business Studies, Economics, Geography, Physical Educa�on, Sociology and History. Students of Determina�on are given the op�on of choosing English as Second Language (ESL) and allowed to limit the number of subjects they may choose to study based on the needs of the student. All students of Year 10 and 11 are also required to study the following Non IGCSE subjects:
