While they offer many benefits, their use in a school setting can also lead to distractions, disciplinary issues, and breaches of privacy. • Students are prohibited from carrying their mobile phones to school. • Students will be provided with alternative ways to communicate with their parents during school hours, such as access to a school phone in case of emergencies, to address any concerns about being unreachable. • If a student requires permission to bring their phone to school for a specific reason, their parents must communicate with the Form tutor and obtain consent. Once approved, the student must sign a letter committing to hand over their phone to the form tutor during morning registration. Failure to comply will result in confiscation of the device.
