STRUCTURAL FAILURE:

• In case of any structural failure the instructions to vacate will be given over the intercom. • All the children and staff members will be vacated to the assembly point immediately. • The principal and the Health and Safety officer will study and investigate the cause of such failure and rectify it at the earliest. • After rectification an evaluation should be carried out by a competent person and such person should submit report if the same. • In such cases the Principal and SLT will immediately review the situation and take appropriate action. • In the event of such a closure, clear communications must be issued to parents of the procedures to collect their children. • Students using the bus transport arrangements will be made by bus monitors for early collection. Communication must be made to parents for an early home drop off. • Own transport students will assemble at the auditorium. • The principal will communicate with the Facilities Manager and stakeholders for the issue to be resolved/ repaired/ replaced. • Severe weather can include examples such as, excessive rain leading to local flooding, high winds, sandstorms, excessive temperatures. • In such cases the principal and the school management should assess the situation and take an appropriate decision at the earliest. • Communications made must be intimated to the parents, students, staff, and the management. • Students are to be kept in a safe assembly location within the school until pickups can commence. Students must be removed from any areas which are exposed to a possible risk. All students must be on a safe point until safe collection of students can be arranged. F. LOSS OF ESSTENTIAL SERVICES: • Loss of essential services could include, HVAC, water, electricity etc. G. WEATHER CONDITIONS:

INTRUDER / RIOTS / CIVIL DISORDERS / ATTACKS: In such cases all the gates must be locked immediately.

Notify the Police.

All students should be taken inside the school. All the outside activities should be cancelled.

Close all curtains and blinds. Care for the injured, if any.

Remain with students until all clear is given.
