DESCRIPTION OF COMMUNICATION SYSTEM TO BE USED FOR EVACUATION ALERT (Siren, alarm, intercom, radio, telephone, shouting) GENERAL REQUIREMENTS • A current site evacuation plan shall be posted on the Corridors. The site plan shall show the placement of emergency EXITS, alarms, fire extinguishers and first aid stations etc. • • In the event of a fire, the first responder should put out the fire if possible. If the fire cannot be quickly controlled, the emergency coordinator’s instructions shall be followed. •

In Emergency scenarios, the first responder shall follow established procedures to alert his / her immediate supervisor and the emergency Co-ordinator of the situation at hand.

Employees from different base and employees from other companies will be treated as visitors. The responsible ADHS Personnel will guide them if required. Requests by news media or other outside persons for information or a statement regarding an emergency situation shall be referred to the acting emergency co ordinator.

• The physical head count is carried out by the Concerned Department Head. Fire Alarm : On hearing the alarm please proceed in an orderly fashion to the assembly point. Visitors will have to remain at the assembly point until such time the all clear is given by the Principal or her delegate.
