Cyberbullying is generally criminal in nature/character. The UAE cybercrime Law No 5 of 2012 issued by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2012 states guidelines for the misuse of technology. Defama�on, which is o�en at the core of cyberbullying is poten�ally a criminal offence in the UAE.
