Behaviours are managed in levels from 1 to 4 (see table below). Level 1 - At the first lapse, the student is given a verbal warning and given a chance to repent. Students will be allowed to rectify their errors for minor offences so that they learn from their mistakes and are given time to reflect on their actions Level 2 - For a repeated lapse, he/she is given a time out and allowed to self - reflect over their actions and choose their next course of action. Serious and repeated behaviour incidents will result in meetings with parents to discuss student behaviour. Level 3 - Repeat actions or severe issues will be recorded on the schools ERP or filed by the Pastoral Team. The student may be exempted from school activities/ field trips. In school suspension and parents meeting with SLT would be arranged to make sure the student understands the seriousness of the offence at this level. Level 4 - If they are consistently challenging the rules and do not meet the behaviour expectations, they face bigger repercussions. The may receive Warning letter, Incident Slip, Parent would have a meeting with the HOS/HOP /VP/Principal. In major cases, actions can get severe such as exclusion or non - re - enrolment for the next academic year and expulsion by the Principal with approval from KHDA. Depending on the severity of the offences, a student may directly face repercussions based on higher levels, for issues where a student continues to cause health and safety risk to others or is involved in acts of severe misconduct - in person or online, physical violence or aggression.
