5 Are pedestrian routes into school safe and accessible- has roads clear/safe to drive on? 6 Are there any areas within the school locality particularly impassable or dangerous in times of extreme bad weather? 7 Can enough Teaching Staff and Classroom Assistants attend school to ensure the adequate supervision of pupils? 8 Is the severe weather likely to clear quickly and to allow safe access to the school building? 7. REVIEW The policy should be revised on an annual basis and on an ad hoc basis if any update/ modifications is required. Additional modifications/ updates may also be communicated. 8.
