EXTREME WEATHER POLICY 1. INTRODUCTION
The Extreme Weather Policy has been compiled and developed along with the policies that are being implemented at Al Diyafah High School. This policy has been developed in order to provide proper guidance and instruc�ons of the process in the event of an extreme weather condi�ons. This document and other suppor�ng documents should be read and understood. The school and the core team reviews and updates the document every year or if changes need to be made. 2. PURPOSE The purpose of the Extreme Weather Policy is to iden�fy and respond to incidents by outlining the responsibili�es and du�es of school staff. Developing, maintaining, and exercising the plan empowers employees in an incident to act quickly and knowledgab ly. In addi�on, the policy educates staff, faculty, students, and other key stakeholders on their roles and responsibili�es before, during, and a�er an incident. This policy provides parents and other members of the community with assurances that our school has established guidelines and procedures to respond to incidents in an effec�ve way. The developed guidelines and procedures for dealing with exis�ng and poten�al student and school incidents are defined in the policy below. Faculty and staff have been trained to assess the seriousness of incidents and respond as per these established procedures and guidelines. 3. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
