WALKIE TALKIE RADIO COMMUNICATION POLICY Health & Safety and Emergency procedures – Radio Communication Guidelines to be adhered: • It is compulsory to carry the units as allocated (NOT OPTIONAL) and staff should be reminded & informed of the guidelines. • Ensure the Battery pack for Radio unit is charged at all times. • The Radios should be switched on to Channel 1 at all times. • In case of damage or any malfunction of device, notify (Email – operations@diyafahschool.com). • In the event of a fire evacuation/emergency, only the Principal / Health and Safety Officer will give the “ALL Clear” instruction to return to respective buildings. • All devices must be only used on the premises of Al Diyafah High School. • The radio should be used for official purpose only. • The use of profanity over the radio is strictly prohibited. • The radio should not be used for casual conversation. The airwaves must be kept clear in case of an emergency. • The device(s) are under the asset policy of Al Diyafah High School and the responsibility is on the staff to prevent loss or damage. • A queued radio clogs up your channel making it difficult for other staff to communicate. So kindly check your buttons/ dials to ensure you are on your respective channel. • Sharing of the device is strictly not allowed.
